For years, I watched brilliant women lower their voices. I watched high-achieving believers navigate a silent tension: the pressure to choose between the boardroom and the prayer room. Between the grind and the grace.

I decided to stop choosing.

I’m Angelica Lazo. I am an author, a faith-driven strategist, and a speaker for the woman who is tired of apologizing for wanting more.

Whether through my books, Faith & Six Figures and Called for More, or my work as a strategist, my mission is the same: to help you strip away the performance of perfectionism and build a life defined by purpose, peace, and conviction.

Before the Books

Before I became an author, coach, or strategist, I was a fashion designer with a dream and no safety net.

I launched my first clothing line driven by creativity, vision, and passion—but without the financial backing or business structure needed to sustain it. The talent was there. The vision was clear. The systems were not. Eventually, reality hit, and the brand didn’t survive.

That failure didn’t break me—but it did humble me. It taught me something critical: creativity without strategy is vulnerable.

So I made a hard but powerful decision. I went back to school.

I earned my master’s degree, grounded myself in business principles, and moved to Los Angeles determined to pursue my fashion dreams again—this time smarter. But once there, I ran into another hard truth: the fashion industry often asks you to work endlessly for very little pay, even when you’re highly skilled.

That’s when I leaned into my other strength—business.

The Pivot That Changed Everything

I transitioned into the corporate world, where I learned how companies actually operate behind the scenes. I entered healthcare and insurance, working in business analysis, operations, and project-driven environments. I learned systems. Processes. Data. Strategy.

At the same time, I taught myself coding, technology fundamentals, and how digital systems scale. I wasn’t abandoning creativity—I was upgrading it.

Later, I moved to Florida, and that’s when everything clicked.

I realized my true calling wasn’t just fashion—it was helping women build brands that last.

With my background in fashion, marketing, business, and technology, I began coaching women on how to brand themselves, position their expertise, and build sustainable online businesses. In 2020, I officially launched my online coaching business, helping women turn ideas into income with clarity and confidence.

As my work evolved, so did my mission.

I went from coaching → to building self-service systems, → to launching automation tools and software that help women streamline their businesses without burnout. I built community. I built systems. I built solutions.

And in the process, I learned one thing deeply:
Success without alignment costs more than failure ever did.

When I step away from strategy, systems, and writing, I fully lean into the art of living well.

You’ll usually find me with a matcha or an iced latte in hand, dressed for the moment—even if the moment is just brunch. I love leisure with intention: rooftop views at golden hour, long brunches that turn into conversations, beautifully plated dinners, and yes—caviar when the mood calls for it.

Fashion has always been part of how I express myself. Not trends for the sake of trends—but style as confidence, presence, and storytelling. I believe how you show up matters, whether it’s in business, love, or a martini at a rooftop bar.

Happy Place: A rooftop with city views, ocean air nearby, good music, and zero rush.

Fuel of Choice: Matcha in the morning, iced latte mid-day, a lychee martini when the night deserves it.

Life Philosophy: Success should feel as good as it looks.

My joy isn’t separate from my purpose—it fuels it. Everything I build is rooted in the belief that you can love God, live beautifully,

desire more, and still be deeply grounded.

Because faith doesn’t require small living.
And ambition doesn’t require burnout.

Where I Am Now

As of 2026, I’m no longer chasing versions of myself—I’m standing fully in who I’ve become.

I’ve lived the pivots. The setbacks. The quiet seasons where nothing made sense, and the loud seasons where everything looked successful but felt empty. I’ve learned that growth isn’t always upward—it’s inward first.

Today, I write from lived experience, not theory.

Faith & Six Figures and Called for More are not books I rushed to publish. They were written slowly, prayerfully, and honestly—through real decisions, real risk, and real surrender. They reflect the person I became when I stopped asking for permission to want more and started trusting God with the full vision.

These books are for women and men who know they’re capable of more—but refuse to sacrifice peace to get it. For those who desire impact, financial growth, and a deeper relationship with God—without burnout or compromise.

They are not the beginning of my story.


They are the distillation of every season, lesson, and version of me that came before.
